Our Purpose

Work together to strengthen our community capacity to create healthy and safe environments and reduce unhealthy behaviors among youth and adults through education and advocacy work

Our Mission

Creating a tobacco-free environment by reducing the risk factors and increasing protective factors for a healthy and safe community.

Our Meetings

When: The 1st Thursday of the Month - 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Where: Ampla Health Board Conference Room - 935 Market St. Yuba City, CA 95591

Creating a Healthier Sutter through youth advocacy.

Who Are We?

Student Advocates for Sutter County Youth Coalition (SASC) are youth in grades 9-12 who work together to initiate, coordinate, and sustain prevention efforts that promote healthy lifestyles through education, promotion, and advocacy work by:
1.    Advocating for healthy policies
2.    Educating peers and community about healthy behaviors
3.    Conducting local surveys and assessments
4.    Participating in community events
5.    Sharing our youth voice
